Splendor Class Ships - In 2008, Carnival welcomes the Splendor to the fleet. Due to be inaugurated in July 2008, this new ship will spend the summer cruising Europe starting out of Dover, England. After a Trans-Atlantic sailing in November 2008, it will cruise the Eastern Caribbean until the end of January 2009. In January 2009, Splendor will begin it's 49 day trip around South America to the West Coast. The 49 day trip is broken into 3 cruise segments of 17, 14 & 18 days each. On March 29, 2009, it will take over the 7 day Mexican Riviera itineraries out of Long Beach, CA (replacing the Carnival Pride). This will be the only ship of the Splendor Class, since 2009 will introduce the Dream Class. Here are the stats for the Carnival Splendor and you can click on the ship's logo for the deck plan.
